Sunco Energy secures €58m in financing from Banco Santander
Sunco Energy has secured €58 million in financing from Banco Santander for the design and construction of two photovoltaic plants with a total capacity of 83 megawatt peak (MWp) in Manzanares, Ciudad Real, Spain.
Sunco was advised by Clifford Chance’s Madrid office on the deal.
Clifford Chance also advised Sunco on the drafting and negotiation of the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and operation and maintenance (O&M) contracts for the two plants. The firm also advised on the negotiaton of a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Shell.
