Former Spanish defence minister Dolores de Cospedal joins CMS
Spain’s former Defence Minister Dolores de Cospedal has joined Madrid law firm CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo as a partner.

De Cospedal, a state lawyer, was Defence Minister from 2016 to 2018.
Until 2018, she was secretary general of the Spanish political party Partido Popular (PP). She was president of the Spanish autonomous community of Castile-La Mancha.
She will join CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo’s litigation and arbitration practice.
She graduated in law from Universidad CEU San Paulo in Madrid and became a state lawyer in 1991.
