KPMG Law has recruited a trio of new faces in its Paris office, Valentin Lescroart, Serge Lambert and Guillaume Gonzalez.
With a view to developing its transfer-pricing services, KPMG Law has brought in three new lawyers who specialize in this subject, in the shape of Valentin Lescroart ─ who arrives as a partner and will work alongside the economist Lori Whitfield and existing KPMG partner Olivier Kiet ─ , in addition to former Fidal duo Serge Lambert and Guillaume Gonzalez.
Reacting to the arrival of the newcomers, Christophe Bergerot, head of tax at KPMG Law France, remarked, “In the current context of digital transformation sweeping the tax industry, not to mention the major reglementary changes occurring in international tax law, our clients have great need for transfer pricing services that are at once technical, hyper specialized and sector-specific.”
Valentin Lescroart has a strong track record in formulating transfer-pricing policy, notably with respect to the reorganization of businesses' value streams. He assists clients with tax audits, and regularly pleads tax litigation cases in the French courts. Equally known for his expertise in dual taxation mandates, Lescroart represents clients from the TMT, software, auto and agriculture sectors, chiefly. Prior to joining KPMG, his career featured stints at CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats and Fidal. A member of the Hauts-de-Seine Bar Association, he has master’s degrees in business, corporate tax, and management from Pantheon-Assas, Lille University and Edhec Business School, respectively.
Serge Lambert is a lawyer and economist who specializes in international transfer pricing and taxation, acting for companies of all sizes to ensure the smooth management of their obligations in these regards. His expertise extends to dual taxation and multilateral and unilateral transfer pricing issues. A lawyer for the past eight years, Lambert began his career at CMS, where he spent five years, before switching to Fidal. He has a law degree from Université catholique de Lille and a LLM in Law and Tax Management from Edhec. He is a member of the Hauts-de-Seine bar.
Guillaume Gonzalez commenced his career in 2022 within Fidal’s transfer pricing team. After qualifying as a lawyer in January of this year, he decided to join KPMG to develop his expertise with respect to the Africa and Middle East zones.
