HSBC names new CEO for Luxembourg
HSBC has named Emanuele Vignoli as its new Chief Executive Officer in Luxembourg, succeeding Niccolo Polli, who has been promoted to chief of staff to the Europe CEO.

The appointment of Vignoli will become effective on 1 March, who currently occupies the position of managing director, regional head of global liquidity and cash management – UK & Europe international.
The company’s four main business lines in Luxembourg include asset management, corporate banking, private banking, and securities services.
“Niccolo brings a wealth of international banking experience and broad HSBC knowledge and connectivity to the role,” Chris Davies, Chief Executive Officer HSBC International Europe, said. “Luxembourg’s importance is growing for our corporate, institutional and private wealth clients and we are focused on growing our capabilities to support their needs through our local franchise,” he added.
HSBC has been operating in Luxembourg for over 40 years and benefits from the international network of the HSBC group.
