Global business advisory firm FTI Consulting, has announced the appointment of Gustavo Morales Oliver as managing director of its risk and investigations practice within the firm’s forensic and litigation consulting segment.
Gustavo, who is based in Toronto, joins FTI Consulting from Argentine law firm Marval O’Farrell & Mairal, where he spent nearly 20 years advising clients across Latin America. He most recently led the firm’s compliance, anti-corruption and investigations practice.
In his role at FTI Consulting, Gustavo will work closely with the risk and investigations team in Latin America, helping clients identify and resolve regulatory and political challenges, manage cross-border investigations and develop and maintain robust compliance programs.
“We are excited to be further enhancing the depth and capabilities of our Risk and Investigations team with the addition of an internationally renowned regional expert like Gustavo,” Michael Cullen, FTI Consulting’s Latin America leader of the forensic and litigation consulting segment, said.
“His addition further enhances our ability to provide solutions for our clients in North America, who find themselves immersed in the operational complexities of Latin America,” he added.
