Yoga Alliance International, created by master Swami Vidyanand, wins the first instance in a lawsuit over trademark

Yoga Alliance International (YAI) is an association created by master Swami Vidyanand, one of the leading connoisseurs - as well as the world's leading experts - of traditional Indian meditation techniques. Founded in 2007, YAI is known and followed worldwide.

The ruling is of particular merit as it addresses the issue of trademark claim action, ordering an injunction, penalty, and compensation in specific form of publication always in favor of Master Swami and his yogic association.

YAI and master Swami were assisted by the firm Saglietti Bianco, a well-known boutique firm specializing in intellectual property, with a team consisting of name partner Emanuela Bianco and associate Martina Alparone.

This measure is part of an international dispute between the parties, also coordinated by Saglietti Bianco.

The ruling is still subject to appeal.
