Union Brescia completes capital increase with support from Brescia investors

Union Brescia S.r.l., the football club currently competing in Italy’s Serie C championship, approved a share capital increase that was completed in October 2025. The capital increase was fully subscribed by a pool of industrial investors from Brescia with the goal of supporting the club’s growth.

Deloitte, with a multidisciplinary Tax & Legal team, assisted Union Brescia S.r.l. on all tax and legal aspects related to the capital increase, as well as in negotiating the investment agreements and shareholders’ agreements signed between the company’s shareholders and investors.

Union Brescia S.r.l. was advised on tax matters by STS Deloitte with a team coordinated by partners Andrea Menni and Giuseppe Devoti, supported by managers Mattia Vanzetta and Michele Strada.

For legal matters, the company was assisted by Deloitte Legal with a multidisciplinary team coordinated by partner and Global Head of M&A Giorgio Mariani, together with manager Francesco Savi for corporate M&A aspects. Administrative law matters were handled by a team coordinated by Francesco Paolo Bello, managing partner of Deloitte Legal, assisted by partner Giacomo Gargano, of counsel Luca Amicarelli, and associate Elena Mitzman.

Finally, Union Brescia was advised on Italian sports law matters by Pierfilippo Capello, Head of Sports at Deloitte Legal, and on intellectual property matters by partner Ida Palombella and managing associate Diego Gerbino.
