Suppla to develop new logistics project in Colombia

The company has submitted planning applications and a construction contract for the development.
Suppla was advised on the negotiations for the project by Colombian law firm Dret Legal, and which implied the participation of several practice areas of the firm.
The firm’s real estate practice advised on legal real estate and planning matters for the development and construction of the project, while the firm’s tax, insurance, financial, natural resources and litigation teams also participated.
The firm’s advice “demonstrated its 360° approach, giving the client advice on several areas of law, involving the construction project”, the firm said in a statement.
The negotiations with third parties and authorities required the elaboration of several documents, contracts, memorandums and due diligence processes, among others.
The law firm’s advice also included the structure and process of the elaboration and approval of a condominium rules for the project, its ancillary documents, and the constitution process before the Colombian authorities.
