Spanish law firm Broseta has appointed David Ramírez as a new tax partner in its Barcelona office, reinforcing the firm’s Tax Law department with the addition of a seasoned practitioner with more than 25 years of experience.

Ramírez brings extensive expertise in corporate tax advisory, with a strong focus on M&A and corporate restructurings. Prior to joining Broseta, he was a partner at Rebes & Ferrer Advocats and previously led the M&A and private equity tax division at PwC Tax & Legal.

His professional background spans a wide range of sectors, including consumer goods and circular economy industries, advising both companies and senior executives on complex tax matters.

A graduate in Law from the University of Valencia, Ramírez also holds a Master’s degree in Tax Consultancy from IE Business School. He maintains a strong academic profile, having lectured at leading institutions such as Esade, the University of Barcelona, and the College of Economists of Catalonia.

His appointment forms part of Broseta’s broader strategic plan to strengthen its presence in key markets. Since opening three years ago, the Barcelona office has experienced steady growth and now comprises more than 40 professionals, offering multidisciplinary legal services across corporate, tax, labour, public, and technology law.
