Spain’s Grupo Cox acquires Iberdrola’s assets in Mexico

Grupo Cox, a leading Spanish multinational water and energy company, has acquired Iberdrola’s assets in Mexico for $4.2 billion, one of the largest cross-border energy deals of the year.

Grupo Cox was advised on the deal by DLA Piper.
