SoftwareOne Closes CHF 1.26 Billion Syndicated Financing

SoftwareOne, a leading global software and cloud solutions provider, has successfully closed a CHF 1.26 billion syndicated financing. The facility was arranged by BNP Paribas, UBS Switzerland, UniCredit, and Zürcher Kantonalbank, with a broader group of international and Swiss financial institutions also participating.
The financing forms part of the long-term debt financing for the SoftwareOne Group and follows the successful completion of its recommended voluntary offer for all shares in the company Crayon.
Lenz & Staehelin acted as lead counsel to SoftwareOne in the transaction. The team included Marcel Tranchet, Norman Walczak, Sven Infanger, Natalia Muradova, and Kaniuar Sido (all Banking and Finance). Wikborg Rein advised on Norwegian law aspects.
The syndicate of lenders was advised by Niederer Kraft Frey, with Wiersholm acting on Norwegian law aspects.
