Simone Davini Appointed as New General Counsel of Deutsche Bank Italy

Deutsche Bank has announced the appointment of Simone Davini as the new General Counsel for Italy. He will officially assume the position on July 1, 2025, reporting directly to Luca Fachin, Chief Operating Officer Italy, and Thorsten Seyfried, General Counsel Germany & Europe and Private Bank. In addition to leading the Legal Department, Davini will also join the Supervisory Body (Organismo di Vigilanza) of Deutsche Bank S.p.A., serve as Secretary of the Supervisory Board and the Management Board, and become a member of the board of the Milan branch of Deutsche Bank AG.
Before joining Deutsche Bank, Davini spent 14 years as Head of Legal & Corporate Affairs at Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank, where he oversaw areas including financing, securitization, capital markets, M&A, litigation, compliance, and sustainable finance. He previously held legal roles at ING Italia, Intesa Sanpaolo, and Banca Profilo.
Davini holds a law degree from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and completed advanced studies in Business and Corporate Finance at SDA Bocconi School of Management, University of California - Davis School of Law and Università degli Studi di Milano.
