Sergio Fienga and team join FIVERS to strengthen administrative law capabilities

FIVERS has announced that Sergio Fienga has joined as a partner in its administrative law practice.

Sergio brings over 30 years of experience gained at leading law firms, most recently at Pedersoli, where he opened the Rome office, before continuing his career at PedersoliGattai.

He has extensive experience in public procurement, concessions, urban planning and administrative proceedings. He has also developed significant expertise in regulated sectors, including energy law, pharmaceutical law and electronic communications law, with a particular focus on environmental law matters, as well as in the transport and aviation sectors. In the energy & infrastructure space, he has assisted clients across a wide range of industrial segments — from renewable energy and energy efficiency to waste-to-energy, integrated water services and oil & gas — advising leading Italian and multinational companies, as well as financial institutions, on strategic transactions aimed at advancing their respective industrial plans.

Over the course of his career, Sergio has advised public bodies, publicly owned companies and investment funds on the management of works, projects and services of general interest, as well as on the structuring of public-private partnership and project finance initiatives. His experience includes a particular focus on investments in energy efficiency and smart services in local public transport systems and healthcare infrastructure assets. He has also developed substantial expertise in environmental law, providing targeted advice to companies and public administrations on pollution prevention and environmental protection matters.

Joining FIVERS together with Sergio Fienga is his team, composed of Marco Trevisan (counsel), Jaime Guiso Gallisai (senior associate), Francesca Perna (associate) and Alessandra Lonardo (junior associate).
