Portuguese SPS Advogados appoints Diogo Mandim as COO

Portuguese SPS Advogados has created a new position and appointed Diogo Mandim as Chief Operating Officer, a position he will hold alongside his current role as Director of Technology and Innovation. With this appointment, the firm aims to align its technological strategy with the operations of its key support functions.

As COO, Mandim will be responsible for overseeing coordination, integration, and efficiency across SPS’s four core management areas: Finance, Technology and Innovation, Human Resources, and Marketing and Communications.

Mandim holds a degree in Computer Engineering and began his career at Sonae, where he worked in teams linked to Human Resources, focusing on management support and continuous improvement initiatives. He later joined consulting firms Agap2 and Proef IT, where he contributed to process management and credit recovery projects.

He joined SPS Advogados in 2019 as Director of Technology and Innovation, where he has led the design and implementation of the firm’s technology architecture.

According to a statement from the firm, “SPS Advogados aims to integrate its technological strategy into operational support areas, with the goal of enhancing efficiency and strengthening connections between the partners and the firm's various management departments.”
