Peruvian law firm Valencia adds managing partner, unveils new image

“Mariela Valencia is a successful entrepreneur and an expert in achieving the highest
levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty, paying close attention to the details that
make a difference,” the firm’s senior partner Juber Valencia said.
“Her previous experience includes skills and transformational leadership in human resource
management and service development. She has over 20 years of experience in service
companies and leading new businesses she founded and managed,” he added.
After spending several years abroad in Costa Rica and Brazil, Mariela returned to Peru
and joined Valencia to fully dedicate herself to the family business as managing partner.
She is the first woman to assume this responsibility in the family firm, which has been
dedicated to the field of industrial property in Peru for 96 years.
“We are excited to have Mariela Valencia in this new chapter of the firm, under whose
leadership we aim to align future objectives with the organization's global vision", Juber
added.
Since its foundation in 1928 by Dr. José Valencia C., followed by the leadership of Mr.
Alfredo Valencia P., the firm’s image has reflected the different moments of the firm,
Valencia said in a statement.
