Peruvian law firm Samohod has announced its launch, and which focused on sports gambling law.

The firm “provides the best professional legal and regulatory attention, personalized and specialized, that the national and international market requires and deserves in the country,” the firm said in a statement.

Additionally, the firm also offers legal services for business planning for both local and foreign investors and businesses, including commercial, corporate and M&As, as well as civil and tax laws.

The firm was founded by Nicolás Samohod Rivarola, a practicing attorney registered with the Lima Bar Association, and who graduated in law from the Universidad de Lima in 1990 and who completed a specialization course at the Universidad ESAN in 1996.

His professional experience in the practice of gaming and sports betting law began in 2001, when he assumed the position of legal director of the subsidiary of Novomatic in Peru, and where we provided professional services for 16 years.

He currently provides legal, juridical and regulatory advice to operators of land-based casinos and/or slot machine gaming halls, as well as international slot machine manufacturers; owners and/or operators of B2C sports betting and/or remote gaming platform, and technology certification laboratories specialized in this activity.
In addition, Samohod offers international speaking engagements, and is also a regular contributor of specialized articles in Casino Magazine (Peru), Casino Compendium (UK),

Vixio (US) and Apuesta Legal (Peru).

He is also an advisor and thesis tutor to university students and graduates in master's degrees in gaming and sports betting laws.

The new firm’s offices are located in Lima.
