Peru’s Estudio Muñiz appoints 6 new partners

Johana Calderón is an attorney specialized in intellectual property. Johana graduated in law from the Universidad Nacional de San Marcos law school and holds a master´s degree in lusiness law from Alcalá de Henares University in Madrid. She has worked at the intellectual property court at the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and Protection of Intellectual Property (Indecopi) and is regularly involved in academic conferences regarding her practice.
Claudia Quispe has extensive experience in arbitration. She graduated in law from Universidad Nacional de San Marcos law school and earned a master’s degree in procedural law from PUCP. Claudia has been part of arbitration teams of prestigious firms and carried out an internship at Dechert Paris LLP. She is also a member of the Spanish Arbitration Club.
Julissa Yamani is focused on litigation and controversies. She graduated in law from the Universidad Nacional de San Marcos law school and has worked in several firms and companies and is a contributor of academic journals.
Oxal Ávalos is an attorney specialized in labor law. He graduated in law from the Universidad de Lima and holds a master’s degree in labor law from Universidad Nacional de San Marcos, He is also a professor and author of articles in several academic journals and a regular contributor in newspapers focused on business issues.
Guillermo Gonzales is focused on labor law, and graduated in law from PUCP and has pursued specialization courses at the Universidad de Salamanca in Spain and at Centrum, the PUCP’s graduate school of business. Before joining Estudio Muñiz, Guillermo was part of the labor teams of well-known Peruvian firms.
Percy Suazo has extensive experience in administrative law and municipal regulations. He graduated in law from the Universidad San Martin de Porres and pursued a postgraduate program in notarial and registration law at the same university.
