Pavia e Ansaldo strengthens corporate and litigation practices with dual partner appointment

Pavia e Ansaldo has announced the appointment of two new partners, Massimo Longo and Gaia Benessia, to reinforce its litigation and corporate practices in Milan and Turin. The move aligns with the firm’s national growth strategy, with a particular focus on the Turin office, which is managed by Massimiliano Elia.
Massimo Longo brings extensive experience in civil, commercial, corporate, and financial litigation, specifically focusing on high-complexity technical disputes. Throughout his career, he has advised auditors and auditing firms, as well as members of administrative and control bodies of capital companies, including proceedings involving supervisory authorities. He also possesses specialised expertise in financial intermediation law, assisting banks and insolvency procedures, and manages extraordinary corporate operations and M&A in the industrial, banking, and energy sectors. Additionally, he operates in administrative law, focusing on public contracts and relationships with sector authorities.
Gaia Benessia has developed significant expertise in commercial and corporate law, with a particular emphasis on litigation and assistance to auditors, auditing firms, and corporate bodies. She has also acquired experience in M&A transactions, including within the third sector and the renewable energy industry, where she has assisted in the establishment and development of entities operating in the Piedmont region. She is also active in academic and training contexts as a speaker and co-author of corporate law publications.
