Patria Investments acquires Nexus Capital Partners

Nexus Capital has around $725 million in assets under management.

With the completion of the acquisition, Patria's real estate assets under management in Colombia now surpasses $2 billion.

The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Colombian law firm Posse Herrera Ruiz (PHR) acted as legal counsel to Patria Investments and the shareholders of Nexus Capital Partners in the purchase of the later.

The transaction is the outcome of the joint efforts of the PHR team that advised Patria Investments, made up of partners Jaime Herrera and Susana Gómez, with associate Camila Pérez, as well as the team that advised the shareholders of Nexus Capital Partners, and which was led by partner Jaime Cubillos, with senior associate Camilo Lovera and associate Sergio Hoyos.
