Octopus Energy expands heat pump business with acquisition of Daulto GmbH

Octopus Energy has expanded its heat pump installation business through the acquisition of Daulto GmbH, a fast-growing German heat pump specialist based in Heidelberg, strengthening its position in Germany’s heat pump market.

Founded in 2023, Daulto has already installed more than 2,000 heat pumps and employs a team of 130 experienced professionals. Following the transaction, Daulto will join Octopus Energy’s installation division, strengthening the group’s operational capabilities and technological expertise in the German market.

The acquisition supports the joint ambition of Octopus Energy and Daulto to become the leading heat pump installer in Germany. Beyond accelerating the country’s heat transition, the strategy focuses on delivering high service quality, customer satisfaction and advanced technical know-how.

Addleshaw Goddard served as legal counsel to Octopus Energy on the transaction.
