New Motorsport Platform Korus Group Launched After Multiple Strategic Acquisitions

Korus Group has been established as a new Italian platform aiming to represent excellence in global motorsport. Backed by TEC Racing, part of The Equity Club initiative, the group completed the acquisition of majority stakes in Birel Art, Next Solution Technologies, IAME and Kart Republic, bringing together eight leading Italian companies in the sector.

Korus Group has been established, as a new Italian platform aiming to represent 360-degree excellence in motorsport worldwide. Korus, whose majority stakes are held by “TEC Racing” – a vehicle promoted within the “The Equity Club” initiative – has completed the acquisitions of majority stakes in Birel Art, Next Solution Technologies, IAME and Kart Republic.

Following the completion of these transactions, the Korus Group now brings together eight leading Italian companies: Tatuus Racing, Autotecnica Motori, Breda Racing, YCOM, Birel Art, Next Solution Technologies, IAME and Kart Republic.

Gatti Pavesi Bianchi Ludovici assisted the Korus Group in all stages of the acquisitions of Birel Art, Next Solution Technologies, IAME and Karting Republic, with a team led by equity partner Franco Barucci, together with senior associate Gianludovico Maggi and associate Alex Savoia. The law firm also assisted with the overall financing transaction for Korus Group, with a team composed of managing associate Matteo Colavolpe and associate Raffaele Mollo.

The selling shareholders of Birel Art were assisted, for legal matters, by ADVANT Nctm with a team led by partner Michele Motta and associate Luigi Stabile and, for financial matters, by KT Finance, with a team composed of partner Paolo Favilla and Claudia Bottini.

For the sellers of IAME and Kart Republic – who will also reinvest in the Korus Group – Anemos Private Investments | Samhita Group acted as financial advisor in all phases of the transaction, with Martina Di Gioia and Pietro Basilico, while GA-Alliance acted as legal and tax counsel, with a team led by senior partner Marco Franzini and composed of tax partner Carlo Cugnasca, senior associate Niccolò Lavilla and associate Niccolò Gentili. KPMG assisted with accounting and financial matters with a team led by partner Marco Ramaglia and supported by senior manager Marco Colombo.

The notarial aspects of the acquisitions were handled by Notary Alessandra Radaelli of the firm Ricci Radaelli – Notai Associati.
