Seasoned Middle East banking lawyer Clint Dempsey joins Ashurst in Dubai

Having most recently held the position of partner and head of the Middle East banking and finance practice, Clint Dempsey has departed for Ashurst in Dubai.

Clint Dempsey joined Eversheds Sutherland in 2008 and spent over 17 years at the firm.

He has been working in the Middle East since 2012.

He deals with all aspect of banking and finance, including acquisition finance and asset-based lending, Islamic finance, project finance, real estate and development finance, and trade finance, acting for regional and international financial institutions.

Clint has acted for a range of international and Middle East financial institutions, as well as advising borrowers on their loan and security documentation, and led a team which has substantial experience particularly in the financing of renewable energy projects and trade finance deals, but which also is experienced across a wide range of financing structures.
