Lemontech Names New CEO

A law graduate of the Universidad de Buenos Aires and with an MBA from Stanford, Mariano was previously a partner at MatrixConsulting.
“We are in a unique position to simplify and make more efficient the lives of lawyers across the [Latin America] region, and which will have a huge impact,” Mariano said on his appointment as CEO of Lemontech.
Mariano’s brief will be to develop a growth plan for the company to help it to transform lawyers’ work in the region through the application of technology.
Lemontech was founded in 2003 and last year was the recipient of an investment by Silicon Valley-based investment firm Accel-KKR.
Lemontech is now considered to be the leading software developer for lawyers in Latin America, with a presence in 19 countries and serving more than 12,000 lawyers as clients, whom it helps to digitize their operations and increase their efficiency.
The company’s role has become more important in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, as law firms see the need to accelerate their digital transformation and continue to serve their clients in the new circumstances of social distancing and online operations, and which has led to growth in demand for the company’s software, Lemontech said.
Among the company’s sought-after products among law firms as software suites such as CaseTracking and TimeBillingX.
The CaseTracking suite allows law firms to follow judicial cases via the Internet in a more secure way, and demand for the product grew by more than 350% in 2020, Lemontech said.
