Gómez-Acebo hires Madalena Caldeira as the new head of Labor to its Lisbon office

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has appointed Madalena Caldeira, until now in Abreu Advogados, as the new coordinator of labor department of the Lisbon office. With this incorporation, the labor team led by Ignacio del Fraile, will have more than 20 lawyers located in the offices of Lisbon, Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona and Bilbao.

The lawyer specializes in providing labor advice to Portuguese and international companies, with special emphasis on M&A transactions, labor inspections, collective bargaining, substantial modifications, labor audits or subrogation of employees. She has special qualifications in labor accidents, management of occupational risk prevention and Social Security contributions.

Madalena Caldeira has a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP). She a has a postgraduate degree in Taxation from Instituto Superior de Gestão and a postgraduate degree in Commercial Law from UCP. She also completed the Advanced Taxation Program at UCP and an Intensive Course on Social Security at the Law School of the University of Lisbon.
