Focus Estate Fund acquires BariMax shopping center from Pradera

Pradera Holdco Sarl completed the sale of the entire share capital of Investimenti Commerciali Bari S.r.l. – owner of the BariMax Shopping Village – to Focus Estate Fund, on a strategic expansion into the southern Italian Market.

Pradera Holdco Sarl completed the sale of the entire share capital of Investimenti Commerciali Bari S.r.l. – owner of the BariMax Shopping Village – to Focus Estate Fund. Located in the northern part of Bari city, the shopping center has a gross leasable area of 18,785 square meters and hosts tenants including prominent brands such as Sinsay, Happy Casa, and OVS. The acquisition represents a strategic expansion for Focus Estate Fund into the southern Italian market.

CRCCD supported Pradera on all legal aspects of the transaction with partner Alessandro Vespa and senior associate Isabella Fascì.

Pirola Pennuto Zei & Associati advised Pradera on the tax aspects of the deal with a team led by partner Claudio Schettini, assisted by associate partner Federico Signorini.

Focus Estate Fund was assisted on the tax, legal, and financial aspects of the transaction by BDO with a team led by partners Niccolò Bisceglia, Andrea Angelillis and Ferdinando Fraschini, together with Gianluca Pantaleo, Andrea Appendino, Alessandra Pepe and Ludovica D’Andrea.

Legance, with senior counsel Giovanni Troisi and managing associate Alessandro Marino, advised Banco BPM in the acquisition financing provided to the buyer. Tax aspects were handled by counsel Luigi Quaratino and associate Melania Giorgio.
