Duccio Mortillaro joins Fox Rothschild to head new Italian practice

Fox Rothschild has announced the incorporation of lawyer Duccio Mortillaro as a partner, and who will head the firm's Italian practice.
Duccio will operate from offices in New York, Miami and Los Angeles, and his addition will expand the firm's international corporate expertise.
"A growing number of international clients are expanding into the United States," said Dianna G. El Hioum, chief growth strategist at Fox.
"Duccio's experience in leading cross-border transactions and will be of great benefit to these clients, as well as to US firms looking to expand internationally. This is of particular interest in Italy and throughout Europe, where Duccio has solid market knowledge and long-standing professional relationships," she added.
An expert in corporate and M&A, Duccio focuses his practice on cross-border corporate and commercial transactions by assisting multinational companies and non-US business entities, primarily from Italy and other European countries, in making and managing their investments in the United States, as well as US companies operating in Europe and Latin America.
He also acts as an external general counsel for non-US companies operating in the US, providing assistance in all areas of law and focusing on practical solutions with high added value for clients. He has gained specific expertise in project finance transactions by assisting companies engaged in the development of both US and cross-border projects in all their phases, and in multiple sectors, from energy to telecommunications.
His clients, operating in fields as diverse as manufacturing, high technology, consumer goods and services, vary in size and scope from small private companies to large multinationals, and span multiple industries, such as automotive, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, fashion, electronics, industrial machinery, construction and design.
