Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo adds Eliana Bejarano as a new partner

Spanish law firm Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo has hired Eliana Bejarano as a new partner focusing on international, economic, digital and public law. Bejarano served as an advisor and official in the Colombian government, including as a legal advisor for the Minister of the Interior and the Senate. She launched the first diplomatic mission for Colombia in Azerbaijan and served as the president of the Colombian Arts Council. In addition, Bejarano has led several legal efforts in defense of human rights for victims of the armed conflict in Colombia.

For the last five years, she has advised companies and governments on their internationalization and sustainability policies. Bejarano has a law degree from Externado University of Colombia and a master’s degree in legal culture and comparative law from the University of Genoa in Italy, and serves as a professor at the online training technology institute Zigurat Global Institute of Technology.
