Cosmico closes €12 million round and acquires 100% of Flatmates

Cosmico, a European scale-up operating in the Future of Work sector in Italy and Spain, has closed a €12 million round (equity and debt) with participation from existing investors P101 SGR and Prana Ventures. Simultaneously, the company has completed the acquisition of 100% of Flatmates, a creator agency founded by Michele Pagani and Marcello Ascani, which applies the Talent-as-a-Service model to the creator economy. The full acquisition completes a process begun in 2024 with the acquisition of a majority stake, anticipating the original plan by two years.

Cosmico was assisted by Bird & Bird as deal counsel for both the investment round and the acquisition, with a team led by partner Calogero Porrello, supported by associate Alice Maria Cuccio.

Flatmates was assisted by Pavia e Ansaldo for the corporate aspects of the acquisition, with the support of counsel Pietro Miazzi.
