Cleafy raises €12m in Series B funding round

Cleafy S.p.A., a Milan-based cybersecurity firm specialising in the banking sector, has successfully completed a €12 million Series B investment round. The capital increase saw the participation of eCAPITAL V Technologies Fonds GmbH & Co. KG and United Ventures SGR S.p.A., acting through the EuVECA United Ventures T-Growth fund.
The investment will support Cleafy’s continued growth as it develops advanced fraud prevention technologies designed to protect financial institutions against sophisticated digital threats. By securing this new capital, the company aims to accelerate its expansion and consolidate its position as a reference point for cybersecurity in the European financial services market.
BonelliErede provided legal assistance to eCAPITAL V Technologies Fonds GmbH & Co. KG. The firm’s team was led by partner Giulia Bianchi Frangipane and included managing associate Enrico Goitre and associate Camilla Larcher.
Cleafy S.p.A. and United Ventures SGR S.p.A. were represented by Giovannelli e Associati, with a team led by partner Andrea Mossa and supported by associates Alessio Buontempo and Federico Simone Coscia. Additionally, Studio Legale Longhini assisted with a team directed by founder and managing partner Pietro Longhini, alongside lawyer Fiorenza Bianchi and Michele Contesi.
The notary aspects of the transaction were managed by notary Susanna Schneider and lawyer Alessandro Franzini of ZNR Notai.
