Zamora IP, a boutique Chilean law firm focusing on intellectual property, has been launched by Juan Pablo Zamora.

The firm also specializes in industrial property, data protection and new technologies, with a focus on strategic planning and litigation in such matters.

Juan Pablo Zamora Iturra graduated in law from the Universidad de Chile and has 10 years of experience as a practicing lawyer.

Prior to launching the firm he worked at law firm Albagli Zaliasnik as a senior associate, and has also worked at the firms Montt y Cía, Porzio Ríos y Asociados, and at Chile’s National Institute of Industrial Property (INAPI).

His experience includes advising multinational and Chilean companies in trademark matters, invention patents, advertising laws, personal data protection, and unfair competition, among other areas.

Zamora IP has developed two main lines of business: the first is related to the entertainment industry and new business models and platforms; and secondly, providing out-of-house services to other firms that do not have in-house intellectual property teams, acting as an important ally both in litigation and in the protection of non-tangible assets.

Zamora IP offers specialized attention to content creators on social network such as YouTube, Twitch, Tik Tok and Instagram, focusing on varied topics such as sports and video games, providing its clients with protection of both their brands and their works, as well as the preparation of contracts between creators and third parties.
