Chile’s Prieto promotes partner to lead regulation and antitrust practice

Andrea joined the firm in 2020 and has been the co-director of said practice since 2021 alongside Benjamin Grebe, and has represented both local and international clients in the energy, natural resources, retail, food and telecommunications sectors, among others.
She has more than 15 years’ experience as a lawyer and graduated in law from the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, where she also studied a master’s degree in business law, and holds an MSc in regulatory law from the London School of Economics.
In addition to her work as a lawyer, she has worked as a professor in the faculty of law of the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez and at the Universidad de Chile.
Prior to joining Prieto, she worked at the country’s economic prosecutor’s office.
“I am more than happy to assume this new role, and working at a law firm such as Prieto has allowed me to grow both professionally and personally,,” Andrea said. “I will continue to focus on regulation and antitrust, always aiming to deliver an excellent service to our clients, and prioritizing the formation of a professional team committed to the clients’ needs,” she added.
