CastaldiPartners has announced the arrival of two new partners in its Paris office: Juliette Bril, formerly a partner at Fairway, and Vanessa Ruffa, previously a partner at Simon Associés. The hires mark an expansion of the firm’s expertise in environmental law, real estate, and dispute resolution, further strengthening its Franco-Italian platform.
Juliette Bril, widely regarded as one of France's foremost lawyers specialising in environmental issues, will lead the Environment, Commercial & Industrial Real Estate & Urban Planning practice, also covering acquisitions and disposals of assets or companies. She will expand these activities in Italy as well. To strengthen the team, Arielle Guillaumot, a lawyer from the Paris Bar specializing in environmental law, is also joining from Fairway.
Vanessa Ruffa, a leading French litigator, is leaving Simon Associés to become a partner at CastaldiPartners. Vanessa Ruffa will bring to CastaldiPartners’ Dispute Resolutions practice her solid experience in commercial litigation, particularly in corporate, banking, and mediation matters, which she also gained at de Gaulle Fleurance & Associés, where she was a partner. Jessica Lusardi, a lawyer at the Paris Bar, is also joining from Simon Associés alongside Vanessa Ruffa.
“We are delighted to welcome our new partners, Juliette and Vanessa, along with their colleagues, Arielle and Jessica,” said Enrico Castaldi, President of CastaldiPartners. “Their expertise, matured and appreciated at the Paris Bar, one of the most prestigious in Europe, their professional development at leading business law firms, and their ability to work in multicultural environments, will infuse new energy and assets to CastaldiPartners. As we approach our 30th anniversary, this will enable us to start a new phase of growth and strengthen our leading position in Franco-Italian relations.”
