BUK is a Chilean startup founded four years ago, now also present in Colombia, Peru and Mexico. Its software allows companies’ human resources departments to manage their activities, to better take care of the interests of staff over the long term.
Boost SpA is a technology and content startup created in 2015 that focuses on innovating, automating and digitizing training. A spin-off of Boost, The Ninja Company SpA was created in 2018 and currently has a staff of 13, who will become part of BUK, while also remaining members of Boost. Both companies were founded by Alex Hanke, Francisco Wiegand and Germán Reyes.
These acquisitions form part of the BUK’s expansion plan in Chile, complementing its business through training software programs.
BUK was advised on the transaction by the law firm Guerrero Olivos, with a team led by partners Benjamín Pérez and Alejandro Chechilnitzky, alongside leading associate Francisca Martínez and associates Jaime Antoñanzas, Diego Auad, Pablo Escobar, Alejandra Leiton and Tomás Garnham.
