Brazilian law firm Madrona Fialho Advogados has announced the addition of Lucas Camargo and Eduardo Evangelista as new partners. These hires align with the firm’s goal of strengthening its labor law and infrastructure and public law practices.
“This is yet another important milestone in Madrona Fialho’s growth and its consolidation as a full-service law firm in the legal market. Lucas and Eduardo bring extensive knowledge and solid, unique experience, reinforcing our commitment to delivering comprehensive, high-quality solutions to our clients,” said Ricardo Madrona, CEO and co-founder of the firm.
Camargo will join the labor law team. He has a law degree from the University of São Paulo (USP), a specialization in sports law from PUC-SP, and a master of laws from Columbia Law School in the United States. Before joining Madrona Fialho, the new partner worked at the leading firm Pinheiro Neto Advogados for 15 years.
Throughout his career, he has been involved in legal audits, contract analysis and drafting, incentive and compensation plans, compliance, labor investigations, strategic litigation, and issues related to sports labor law. He also works on immigration matters, including defining visas and work permits for foreigners in Brazil.
Evangelista, who joins the firm to expand its infrastructure practice, will focus primarily on the energy sector. He holds a master’s degree in administrative law from PUC-SP. With over 12 years’ experience in the electricity sector, the new partner has worked at firms such as Souto Correa Advogados and Siqueira Castro Advogados. His expertise includes specialist consulting, transaction support and representation in judicial, arbitration and administrative proceedings, particularly before the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL).
“Lucas’ arrival strengthens our work in the labor sector, especially in serving international clients, while Eduardo will contribute to enhancing our energy practice, which has been growing rapidly. These additions reflect our constant pursuit of excellence and innovation, bolstering our presence in key areas and expanding our ability to meet the demands of a dynamic and highly competitive market,” Madrona concluded.
