Bolzoni finalizes strategic acquisition of Valmar

Bolzoni, a global leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of forklift attachments and industrial handling solutions, has acquired 100% of the share capital of Valmar, a company active in the production and sale of masts and special equipment for forklifts and automated guided vehicles (AGVs).

Deloitte supported Bolzoni’s Global Legal Director, Avv. Massimiliano Caforio, with a multidisciplinary team throughout all stages of the transaction.

Deloitte Legal advised Bolzoni on the acquisition of Valmar and carried out the legal due diligence with a multidisciplinary team led by Giorgio Mariani, Partner and Global Head of M&A, alongside Managing Associate Giacomo Bertone, Senior Associate Ludovico Dezio, Associate Carlotta Tassinari, Massimo Munaretto and Jacopo Vittorio Visentin for M&A and real estate matters; Partner Stefano Miniati, Managing Associate Luigi Ricci Palopoli and Associate Francesco Chiari for labour matters; Partner Ida Palombella, Managing Associate Diego Gerbino, Francesca Actis and Mariachiara Ciravegna for IP matters; and Managing Associate Pietro Boccaccini, Senior Associate Simone Prelati and Margherita Demattè for data protection aspects.

Deloitte Financial Advisory, led by Partner Paolo Cosentino with Senior Manager Alberto Morandi, carried out the financial due diligence.

STS Deloitte, led by Partner Elisa Pasqui together with Senior Associate Maria Giovanna Scasserra, Associate Giulia Muratori and Andrea Sferrazza Papa, conducted the tax due diligence and advised Bolzoni on tax aspects of the contractual documentation. Together with Senior Associate Camilla Cencetti and Associate Mariana Chicu, the team also conducted the payroll due diligence.
