Bird & Bird Appoints IP Lawyer as New Partner in Brussels

Op de Beeck has been with the firm since 2007 and specializes in IP law with a particular focus on patent, design and trade secrecy law. As a leading IP lawyer in Belgium, his sharp expertise in technical and scientific IP matters has been a real asset to the firm. He has represented Bird & Bird clients before courts and IP offices both in Belgium and internationally.

He is a permanent member of the design and patent groups of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), and a member of the Licensing Executive Society (LES) and the European Patent Lawyers Association. He is fluent in French, English and Dutch.

Alongside Domien, Bird & Bird has also appointed six other partners to its Milan, Rome and London office as part of the firm’s annual global promotion round.
