Vela Software Group buys Chilean company Tracktec

Vela Software Group is a subsidiary of Constellation Software, a TSX-listed company, and which operates in over 100 countries and dozens of verticals,

Tracktec is a market leader in telemetry and fleet and machinery management, focusing on electromobility and real-time information.

The value of the acquisition was not disclosed.

Tracktec was advised on the sale by Chilean law firm Larrain y Asociados, with a team led by partner Patricio Montes, with associates Andrés Del Sante and Michelle Inzunza.

Vela Software Group was advised in Chile by Carey, with a team led by partner Francisco Ugarte, with Gustavo Marambio and Dominique Zuckermann.
