Supernova Group Acquires La Scaglia Shopping Center in Civitavecchia

Kryalos SGR has finalized the sale of the La Scaglia Shopping Center in Civitavecchia (Rome) to Supernova Group, one of the leading European players specializing in retail investments.

The property sold covers an area of over 15,800 square meters and is almost entirely leased to national and international brands. It was originally part of a shopping center portfolio owned by the Dante Fund (subscribed by Partners Group—one of the world’s largest private equity firms acting on behalf of its investors—and by Kryalos SGR, which also serves as the fund’s manager).

Ashurst advised Kryalos in its role as manager of the Dante Fund on all legal aspects of the transaction, with a multidisciplinary team coordinated by partner Andrea Caputo and counsel Luca Maria Chieffo, including senior associate Vincenzo Esposito and associate Sofia Rainaldi (real estate matters), as well as associate Beatrice Melito (for matters related to existing property guarantees from prior financings).

FIVERS Studio Legale e Tributario advised Kryalos on all tax-related aspects of the sale, with a team led by managing partner Francesco Mantegazza, and including partner Andrea Brambilla and trainee Sofia Masotti.

Cappelli Riolo Calderaro Crisostomo Del Din & Partners advised the buyer, Supernova Group, on legal matters, with a team composed of partners Giuliana Durand and Alessandro Vespa, senior associate Isabella Fascì, associate Giacomo Passeri, and junior associate Luigi Insabato.

Andersen advised Supernova on tax matters, with a team coordinated by partner Paolo Trevisanato, supported by partners Letizia Carrara and Giacomo Baldin, and manager Davide Moretti.

The secured creditors were advised by A&O Shearman, with a team led by partner Pietro Scarfone, and including senior associate Marco Mazzola and associate Andrei Avram.
