Souto Correa announces four new partners

In early January, distinguished law firm Souto Correa announced a promotion round for 2023, introducing Clarissa Yokomizo (Corporate Law and M&A), Fábio Baldissera (Real Estate), Ingrid Hessling (Capital Markets), and Pedro Demartini (Tax) as its new partners.
Clarissa Yokomizo is based in São Paulo and joined Souto Correa in 2015. She has 20 years of experience working on big law firms, such as Mattos Filho and Wald & Advogados e Associados. Academically, she holds a Bachelor of Laws Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP), a postgraduate degree in Environmental Law from Universitat Pompeu Fraba, in Barcelona, a Master's in Private Law and International Commerce from Panthéon-Assas université and a Master's in Banking and Finance from University of Wales.
Fábio Baldissera is based in Porto Alegre and has been working at Souto Correa since its inception, in February of 2013. He spearheads the firm’s real estate practice and has extensive knowledge and experience in the field, including on matters connected to M&A transactions, infrastructure projects, wealth management, and succession planning, as well as strategic real estate litigation. Academically, he holds a Bachelor of Laws from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUC-RS), a postgraduate degree in Real Estate Law from Fadisp and a Doctor of Laws in Public Law from Universidad de Burgos.
Rio-based Ingrid Hessling joined Souto Correa in February 2022, coming from Stocche Forbes, where she had spent nine years as an associate. She also has also previously worked at Pinheiro Neto Advogados and Cescon Barrieu. Academically, she holds a Bachelor of Laws from Universidade Candido Mendes and a postgraduate degree in Corporate Law from IBMEC.
Pedro Demartini is based in São Paulo and he joined Souto Correa in May 2015, he had previously been an associate at Pinheiro Neto for ten years. Mr.Demartini has advised several projects and obtained favorable decisions for clients in relevant cases related to the technology, energy, and agribusiness sectors. Academically, Pedro holds a Bachelor of Laws from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, a Master's in Tax Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and he is also a specialist in Tax Law from Universidade de São Paulo (USP).
