Belgian firm Seeds of Law has announced the arrival of Steve Griess as a partner in its intellectual property and life sciences practices.
Griess’ practice focuses on contract drafting and negotiation, commercial litigation, at both national and international level. He has gained extensive experience in commercial distribution law - such as franchise, agency and concession agreements, and also in real estate, contract law and enforcement law.
His experience has been recognized by the Brussels Bar, which has awarded him the title of "specialist in contract and distribution law".
He also has a strong grasp of sports law, which has led him to act as an arbitrator at CBAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport).
Griess graduated in law at the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 2005 and graduated magna cum laude in European law from the Institute for European Studies in 2006. Prior to joining Seeds of Law, he worked at several major Brussels law firms including Stibbe and Strelia, where he was in charge of their respective litigation and arbitration departments.
