Dr. Marc-Alexander Lüth has extensive management experience in complex real estate projects for different stakeholders. He joins Schalast from the real estate investor Aroundtown, for which he has established a management platform for commercial real estate investments in recent years. His other working experience includes Grand City Properties (Aroundtown’s Luxembourg holding), Patron Capital Partners, Dundee International (Dream Global), Hudson Advisors, Lovells and ECE. At Hudson Advisors he was entrusted with the handling of non-performing, mostly real-estate backed loans (NPL) and the servicing of the Lone Star fund in Luxembourg.
Mahren Williams has run her own boutique firm in Hamburg for twelve years, advising clients on real estate and contract law in connection with all real estate project development phases of shopping centres and commercial properties. Prior to this, she established the commercial real estate practice group at the boutique real estate law firm Gappmayer & Partner in Hamburg.
Interdisciplinary team
The founding partner Professor Christoph Schalast and partner Barbara Busch are also members of the interdisciplinary team. A lawyer, tax advisor and public accountant, Barbara Busch is experienced in advising national and international clients on real estate transactions, as well on all legal and tax issues in all real estate life cycle phases.
Finally, counsel Alexander May advises clients on all commercial real estate law issues, the execution of real estate transactions and the restructuring of real estate backed credit exposure.
Founded in 1998 and based in Frankfurt, Schalast & Partner has three offices in Germany and advises German and international clients on M&A, financial and capital market transactions, and also on all corporate, employment and commercial law issues, with a focus on small and mid-cap transactions and complemented by an in-house notary practice specialized in complex company law and M&A notarizations, as well as German and international real estate transactions.
