Togo's Ministry of Finance secures €100 million SACE-guaranteed financing from Santander and AFC for the supply of Italian agricultural machinery.

Banco Santander S.A. (Santander) and Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) have provided a €100 million financing to the Ministry of Finance and Budget of Togo for the supply of Italian-made tractors, ploughs, seed drills and other agricultural machinery. The transaction also highlights the strong growth potential of Made in Italy technologies in emerging international markets.

Santander and AFC were assisted by Watson Farley & Williams (WFW), with an international Finance team led by Partners Mario D'Ovidio (Milan) and Paul Simpson (London), working in close collaboration with Partner Furio Samela (Rome), and supported by Senior Associate Esteira Hiwaizi (London), Associate Giulia Chiarvesio (Milan) and Trainees Zuzanna Potocka (London) and Sam Gunnewicht (London).
