In early January, major full-service law firm Rolim, Viotti & Leite Campos Advogados rebranded as Rolim, Viotti, Goulart, Cardoso Advogados, adding home-grown attorneys Luciana Goulart Ferreira and Alessandro Mendes Cardoso, who have been a part of the firm since 1998, as new name partners.
Diogo Leite Campos, the firm’s former name partner, has left the day-to-day practice to focus on academic endeavours, the drafting of legal opinions, and his career as an arbitrator. However, Mr. Leite Campos remains a part of Rolim Viotti as an external consultant in European law.
As for Ms. Ferreira and Mr. Cardoso, both attorneys focus their practices on tax litigation and social security law. Academically, Ms. Ferreira holds an LL.M. in corporate law from CEU Law School, a Master’s in public law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais (PUC-MG) and a postgraduate degree in electric power regulation from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV-RJ).
Mr. Cardoso obtained a Master’s in tax law from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), a postgraduate in corporate law from PUC-MG and is currently undertaking a doctorate in public law at the same institution.
