Robalino opens new office in Cuenca, Ecuador

Robalino Abogados y Consultores, one of the largest law and consultancy firm in Ecuador, has announced the opening of a new office in the city of Cuenca, the firm’s fifth in the country.

Capital of Azuay province and known as the ‘Athens of Ecuador’ for its striking architecture, cultural diversity and invaluable contribution to the Ecuadorian arts, sciences and literature, Cuenca has experienced strong and sustained economic and industrial growth in recent decades, and which has prompted the firm to create a presence in the city.

Robalino’s proactive legal and consulting practice consists of more than 80 lawyers, more than 75 consultants and more than 200 professionals in total, and who currently provide services in the cities of Quito, Guayaquil, Manta and Machala.

The opening of the Cuenca offices “ratifies our steadfast commitment to Ecuador”, Javier Robalino Orellana, managing partner of Robalino, said.

“Our vision is, and always will be, to provide the best service with humanity, a proactive spirit, and providing added value to each of our clients, with the goal of developing a practice in line with the great growth of the city and the province," he added.

The new office will be managed by Rafael Valdivieso, with Pedro Córdova managing the legal area, and Pablo Velasco as head of the office’s consultancy.

The three partners will have the support of professionals such as Paulina Recalde and Xavier Ibarra, among others.

The office in Cuenca will allow it to be closer to its clients, further enhancing its ability to provide direct, permanent and customized services.
