CMS signs partnership with law firms in Brazil and Mozambique
CMS continues to strengthen its presence in Africa and South America with the partnerships with FAS Advogados, in Brazil, and Couto, Graça e Associados - CGA, in Mozambique
PWC has announced the nomination of ten new partners.
Despite the ongoing pandemic, PWC shows no signs of halting the expansion of its Luxembourg team. In addition to the recent hire of Marco Houscheid (corporate finance, M&A), the Big Four firm has appointed two new tax partners and eight new insurance partners this calendar year and exceeded last year’s number of new partners (7).
The newly appointed tax partners are Alexandre Igel and Pierre Kirsch, while the insurance practice welcomes Amélie Julian, Giuseppe Corsini, Thomas Druant, Nicolas Grillot, Laura Iftime, Brieuc Malherbe, Julien Melotte and Emanuela Sardi.
This swelling of the ranks underlines PwC’s leading position in the growing Luxembourg market, especially in the area of auditing of funds and sub-funds. As per the recently published survey by UK consulting firm Monterrey Insight on the Fund Industry in Luxembourg, PWC has audited almost 6,000 entities in 2019 double that of its closest rival KPMG (3,000).
