Pioneer Point Partners acquires Arpex

Pioneer Point Partners LLP, a UK investment company specializing in sustainable infrastructure, has signed and completed an agreement for the acquisition of Arpex, a leading Italian operator of photovoltaic solutions for the commercial and industrial sector.

With this investment – the third carried out through Pioneer’s second institutional fund, Pioneer Infrastructure Partners II SCSp – the UK investment firm strengthens the financial credibility and reliability of Arpex as a player in the decarbonization path of Italian businesses.

Pioneer was assisted by the international law firm Gianni & Origoni with an interdisciplinary team led by Partners Fabio Ilacqua and Luigi Maraghini Garrone.

For tax and structuring aspects of the transaction, Pioneer was assisted by CBA Studio Legale e Tributario, with a team led by Partner Michele Citarella and composed of Associate Luca Vitale.

Accounting and financial due diligence activities were carried out by Ernst & Young, while Prothea acted as financial advisor.
