In late July, digital payments giant Cielo approved the $945 million secondary issuance of FIDC Cielo, a Credit Rights Investment Fund (FIDC), thus creating one of the largest investment funds ever structured in the Brazilian credit rights market.

Full-service powerhouse Pinheiro Neto Advogados advised all parties in the landmark deal which involved two of Brazil's leading banks as underwriters, Banco Bradesco BBI and Banco do Brasil Investimentos.

Partners Ricardo Russo and Caio Ferreira Silva acted as lead counsel of the transaction, one of the largest fund issuances of 2020 so far.
