Peru’s Payet Rey Cauvi Pérez adds new partner

María specializes in corporate and financial law. She has a distinguished track record and extensive expertise in structuring complex financings, capital markets transactions (both local and international), and infrastructure project development.

Her experience in infrastructure projects includes advising on the structuring and implementation of project finance, joint ventures, investment and divestment processes, EPC contracts, and operation and maintenance contracts.

She has also provided all types of strategic commercial advice to concessionaire companies in their interactions with financial institutions, construction companies, government entities, and other market participants.

Prior to joining the firm, she served as lead partner at EY Law in Peru.

She holds a law degree from the Universidad de Lima.
