With more than 25 years of experience, Omar has focused his practice mainly on maritime law and re-insurance law. He graduated in law from the Universidad San Martín de Porres, and holds an LLM in maritime law from Swansea University in the UK.

He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the British Insurance Law Association, and the ALSUM Legal Observatory.

Prior to joining Osterling Abogados, he was a partner with Arbe Abogados.
