Peruvian law firm Estudio Muñiz has announced the incorporation of Rocío Saux Váldez as a partner in the firm’s labor law practice.

Rocío joins the firm from Lazo de Romaña & Bravo, where she worked for 11 years, and had held the position of partner since 2020.

She has more than 10 years’ experience leading labor lawyer teams, focused on the efficient and dynamic management of human resources with a practical vision in the application of current labor legislation in order to achieve an interrelation with corporate interests.

She also has ample experience advising private companies and national and foreign economic groups in the financial, industrial, retail, real estate, health, education, transportation and services sectors, among others.

Fluent in Spanish and English, she has acted as a representative on a variety of diversity and inclusion forums, such as Pride Connection and Aquales-Comunidad Par.

She is currently an MBA candidate at Babson College and she holds a law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.

Estudio Muñiz is a Lima-based law firm founded in 1981.
